Capturing Stories About, By, and For Disabled Lesbians
In collaboration with the Center for Digital Storytelling (CDS), Fabled Asp will be holding a special workshop series in Spring 2009 for lesbians with disabilities. The workshop will be adapted to meet the needs of disabled lesbians in accessing new digital media as a way to express life journeys.
Attending the CDS workshop is ideal for someone who wants to tell their own story, instead of being interviewed. You’ll have creative freedom.
A digital story is a 3-minute personal movie combining storytelling technique with your own photos, video or music. No experience necessary -- the folks at CDS will show you how. Simply bring your own photos or other material when the workshop begins.
To find out how you can apply for the workshop and participate, email fabledasp@gmail.com
